It's Very Beautiful Over There

I'm Sarah, I'm 20 and an English major in my junior year. I hail from Long Island, but I don't have a bad accent (my brit lit professor told me so, so it must be true). I read as much and as often as I can. Harry Potter is my soul, Glee is my happiness, and Klaine is my heart. I'm a Nerdfighter and Starkid, Kurtsie and Blaine-stan and Klainer, Gleek and Potterhead. Darren Criss actually stole my heart and keeps it in his ridiculously hipster socks in the same drawer as his Potter glasses. Chris Colfer is my best friend soul-mate, and I think everything he does is magical and wood nymph-like. This blog is comprised of fangirling and randomness. (PS: I don't curse as much in real life. And you should always read my tags)

So, they’ve come up with a great solution: Adopt a Word. It’s free to adopt a word, the words are old and weird and fun to use, you can buy a t-shirt with your word on it (only if you wish; it’s not a requirement), and you can choose your adopted word! All you agree to, in adopting your word, is to use it! You can spray paint it on a wall, use it in a meeting, win a game of Scrabble with it, or even walk around town wearing a sign-board/sandwich-board with your word on it! (Or, you could wear the aforementioned t-shirt, if you want!) I adopted the word foppotee, which is appropriate here, since only a simpleton wouldn’t want to adopt a word and help save the English language, right? I adopted aquabib aka a person who drinks water! I adopted oporopolist - somebody who sells fruit. Boring, but it sounds nice :p I’m crying. Absolutely crying. This is the most wonderful ever. I adopted lignicide - woodcutter. It sounds lovely.  “I’m a lignicide and I’m okay. I sleep all night and I work all day…” Prandicle- small meal.  I eat a prandicle everyday for dinner because I hate the food at the dining hall :D
