Their first time. It’s loving, it’s awkward, and they take time for soft kisses to foreheads and temples and eyelids. It’s at night. Not in the secretive “we need to stay quiet so no one will hear us” way, but in the “we will stay quite because this is too special to allow anyone else to hear us” way. They will be alone. No parent’s or siblings to worry about, just the two of them in a house alone. Either Blaine’s or Kurt’s, just one where no one else is around. Not because they are “too cheap” to stay at a hotel, but because they want it to be somewhere for just the two of them. Not some place that a new couple will be staying in the next night. Somewhere that they will remember forever.
Imagine Kurt waking up the next morning, the sun peeking through the shades. The light patterns would dance across Blaine’s back and he would stay there, silent, watching Blaine. Watching the boy he is in love with. Watching the boy who loves him back. Think about the way that Blaine’s eyes will peel open and how he will smile gently. Smile because he knows that they will have a lifetime to wake up next to each other.
If I could have any thing for Glee Season 3 … Come What May at Nationals: Kurt and Blaine
Now, picture this (and really listen to the lyrics when I tell you to play the track):
The school year is almost over and Kurt is leaving for New York very, very soon. This basically means, Kurt is leaving Blaine very, very soon; but never forever. Both of them are worried about how long they’re going to last, even though there is no doubt in the world how crazy they are for each other.
Skip to Nationals. Before New Directions goes on stage as a group for the last time, they’re all just holding hands in a circle. All of them kind of silent with a loss for words. They had come so far. Three years of ups and downs through the laughs and tears. That track starts playing (you know the classic one that played in 1x22 where Emma talks to Will about how since he and the kids loved what they were doing, it didn’t matter whether they won or lost). Looks are exchanged between the group, a few tears start to fall, there’s maybe even a laugh or two. Kurt and Blaine share a mourning, but also hopeful look before we hear —
“Ladies and Gentlemen, all the way from Lima, Ohio, let’s give it up for… the New Directions!” *play song*
The stage is dark. The first few chords of the song trickle out as Blaine steps forward with shining eyes full of love and hope but also fear. He belts out the first verse and chorus flawlessly. Then, Kurt steps forward. They sing, but it’s more than that. It’s a message.
And there’s no mountain too high No river too wide Sing out this song and I’ll be there by your side
They know that even though they’ll be hundreds of miles apart, nothing can truly touch what they have. With eyes locked, hands held, (similar camera angles as to Candles) and New Directions backing them up, Kurt and Blaine not only pour their hearts out to each other, but to the world.Come What May. You can yell at me. You can kick me when I’m down. You can tell me I’m worth nothing. But I don’t care. Because I have him, and he has me. And that’s all that matters.
The song ends. Both of their hearts beating erratically and eyes shining with tears as the crowd gives them a standing ovation. Two boys. Singing one of the world’s greatest love songs and no one bats an eye.
It’s not the end, they realize. It’s only the beginning.
Come What May. I will love you, until my dying day.
OH GOD. now i’m crying in the library. again. they must think i’m crazy here.
I just learned from my publisher that all copies of The Fault in Our Stars must be signed by November 3rd, or else some copies of the first printing will be unsigned.
This is less time than I thought, and I have a lot of books left to sign. Essentially, every single day between now and November 3rd, I need to sign more copies than I’ve signed in my most productive day so far.
This is the place where I insert a freaking out gif.
So, okay, I’m going back to signing, but I wanted to let you know why you might not see much tumblring or tweeting around here, and why my vlogbrothers videos may seem a bit….rushed.
DEAR GOD THIS POOR MAN. if he doesn’t have some serious hand problems by now, he certainly will after this. I BELIEVE IN YOU JOHN.
“…Blaine’s complete ass kicking of “Something’s Coming“. Talk about owning a song. He brought the smack down on it and bought it breakfast in the morning. As far as talent goes Blaine (Darren Criss) is the male Rachel and I would start calling him Blainchel if that wasn’t sort of lame. His lack of screen time outside of song performances is criminal. I want to see his parents and family life. I want to see whose posters he has on his bedroom walls.”—Accidental Sexiness (via gifttothecity)
