and HOLY SHIT I feel like a dumb-ass. Like, I can drag things into folders and operate itunes and safari at the same time. that is the extent of my computer savviness. Mark Zuckerberg created a website while he was drunk.
“I have this bizarre disassociation with myself. There’s this guy on TV with slicked back hair and a blazer with red piping. Then there’s this schmuck that I know, and I really can’t connect the two of them together, so when I watch TV, I’m like, “Look at this weenie.””—Darren Criss (via fydarrencriss)
“It’s a funny thing. For all the unsubtlety you’d expect from an episode of “Glee” that tackles teen self-acceptance, starts with a knock in the nose, and culminates in a group rendition of Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” in which deepest secrets (“Likes Boys!”…
As we all know, May 2nd, 1998 marks the downfall of Lord Voldemort. I propose that on Monday, May 2nd, 2011, we all mark our hand/wrist with a symbol that is an obvious symbol from Harry Potter. (A scar, Deathly Hallows symbol, DA, House animals, etc.) It’s…
Tumblr friends and followers. Can I have a moment of your time to talk about a very special someone? He has jet black hair, that sticks up at the back, vivid green almond shaped eyes, a thin face, with a lightening bolt scar on his forehead. His name is Harry Potter. And he is my entire world. Seeing the trailer today made me realise how important Harry Potter is to me, its not just a series of books that I can pick up for a nice quick read on a sunny Sunday afternoon, its not a movie I can go without seeing. I'll tell you why. Harry Potter brings magic into my life, it brings happiness, it brings a small shimmering, lumos like flicker of hope that one day I'll see Hogwarts, one day I'll get that Hogwarts letter, one day I'll meet the creator of this world. I want you to know how special it is to me, but I don't really have the words for it. Whatever someone says, no matter how heartfelt or beautiful, cannot really capture what Harry Potter means to us all. I ask for help. Don't let it die, don't let the magic fade, don't let the darkness fall, just think 'I believe in magic', and that flickering lumos like light will never cease to shine. Never forget the boy who changed our lives. ϟ
This post sums up basically everything that has been on my mind. I never ever want the magic of Harry Potter to end and i can gladly say it won’t because of the most amazing supporters the series has. Harry Potter is life.
“I like being a little bit of everything. I’m a believer in the fact that we are all everybody - we are all evil, we are all wonderful, we are all meek, we are all strong.”—Darren Criss (via cracktastic)
“Give me Harry Potter” said Voldemort’s voice. “and none shall be harmed. Give me Harry Potter, and I shall leave the school untouched. Give me Harry Potter, and you will be rewarded”
“You have until midnight”
The silence swallowed them all again. Every head turned, every eye in the place seemed to have found Harry, to hold him frozen in the glare of thousands of invisible beams, Then a figure rose from the Slytherin table and he recognised Pansy Parkinson as she raised a shaking arm and screamed, “But he’s there! Potter’s there! Someone grab him!”
Before Harry could speak, there was a massive movment. The Gryffindors in front of him had risen and stood facing, not Harry, but the Slytherins. Then the Hufflepuffs stood, and, almost at the same moment, the Ravenclaws, all of them with their backs to Harry, all of them looking towards Pansy instead, and Harry, awestruck and overwhelmed, saw wands emerging from everywhere, pulled from beneath cloaks and from under sleeves.
“Thank you, Miss Parkinson” said Professor McGonagall in a clipped voice. “You will leave the Hall first with Mr Filch.”—Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Chapter 31- The Battle of Hogwarts (via quickquotesquill)
